Terms of service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Innovate App Studios (“we”, “us”) for the Fluere Mac app, fluerevoice.com, and related services (together, “Fluere”). By downloading, signing in to, or using Fluere, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Fluere. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fluere. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and make any purchase.

You sign in with Google or Apple. Each account and plan is for one person. Keep access to your sign-in account secure; you’re responsible for activity on your Fluere account.

Using Fluere

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Fluere on Macs you own or control, as long as you follow these terms. Fluere needs a supported Mac and macOS version, Apple’s on-device speech recognition, and the Microphone and Accessibility permissions. Fluere checks for updates and may install them automatically. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your content

What you dictate, your history, your dictionary, and your settings belong to you and stay on your Mac. Speech recognition and AI polishing can make mistakes, so review text before you send, submit, or rely on it.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use the ideas to improve Fluere without owing you anything. We handle any personal information in your feedback as described in our Privacy policy.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan includes a limited number of words each week. Paid plans and prices are shown before you subscribe.
• Stripe processes payments, and its terms also apply to your purchase. Prices may not include applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from Change Plan or Manage Billing in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
• If we change the price of your plan, we’ll tell you in advance. The new price applies at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan until payment succeeds.

Refunds

Payments aren’t automatically refunded, including for unused time after you cancel. If something went wrong, email support@fluerevoice.com and we’ll review your request case by case. Nothing in these terms limits a refund the law requires.

Student discount

The student discount is for people with a valid school email address. Discount codes are single-use, can’t be transferred or exchanged for cash, and end after the stated discount period, when standard pricing resumes. We may change or end the offer, and we may remove discounts obtained through misuse.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Fluere to:

• Break the law or violate anyone’s rights, including recording people without the consent the law requires.
• Get around plan limits, word allowances, or security, or reverse engineer Fluere except where the law allows it.
• Share, sell, or resell accounts or access to Fluere.
• Send automated requests to our servers, or interfere with or overload Fluere.

Other apps and services

Fluere works inside other apps and relies on services from Apple, Google, and Stripe. We don’t control those apps or services, and their own terms apply. Text insertion may not work in every app.

Our rights

Fluere, including its software, name, and logo, belongs to Innovate App Studios. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond the license above.

Ending your use

You can stop using Fluere anytime. To delete your account, email support@fluerevoice.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to prevent harm, and we’ll give notice when reasonable. When your access ends, your license ends too, and sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limits on liability, still apply.

Disclaimers

Fluere is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Fluere will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Don’t rely on Fluere as your only record of medical, legal, emergency, or other critical information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Fluere is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you’ll defend and compensate us for claims and costs that arise from your misuse of Fluere or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Florida, United States, govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer, you keep any protections of the place you live that can’t be waived by agreement.

Changes to these terms

When we update these terms, we change the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Fluere after the change means you accept the new terms.

General

These terms and our Privacy policy are the entire agreement about Fluere. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver. You can’t transfer these terms without our permission; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of Fluere.
